The Copperhead Heat Break is published under a CC-BY-SA 4.0 open-source license, enabling seamless integration into various heat sink designs. With an impressive range of nine different configurations, the Copperhead Heat Break offers unparalleled versatility for integration, including several plug-and-play options for common 3D printers.

Bimetallic Construction
Equipped with our Bimetallic Heat Break technology, the Copperhead Heat Break eliminates heat creep and jamming, improves print resolution, and allows for shorter retractions. Crafted with a highly conductive copper alloy and strain-hardened, abrasion-resistant steel, this heat break conducts 60% less heat up the filament path when compared to standard monolithic designs.

Premium Materials for Peak Performance
The Copperhead Heat Break features a higher temperature rating (450°C) and flow rate potential than PTFE-lined alternatives by utilizing a high-strength copper alloy with exceptional thermal conductivity, similar to that found in the Mosquito Hotend. With a thicker wall design than its Mosquito predecessor, Copperhead has enhanced impact and abrasion resistance, ensuring long-lasting durability even in demanding printing environments.

Compatibility Information

  1. The Copperhead Heat Break is compatible with hot blocks featuring M6x1.0 threads. If your hot block doesn't have these threads, we recommend purchasing a Copperhead Hot Block for seamless compatibility.
  2. Only the Standard - G2 variant fits the Copperhead Heat Sink.
