Additive Manufacturing in the Military

Bill White

Community Manager & Copywriter

At Slice Engineering, we take pride in supporting our veterans and active-duty military personnel. These men and women have dedicated their lives to protecting our country. We value their service and sacrifice. We are actively looking to build and foster partnerships within this community.

Working with our military customers is mission-critical as they are an integral part of our community. Dan, the CEO of Slice Engineering, had some words regarding working with military customers: “Additive manufacturing is a key technology that acts as a force multiplier in military supply chains. We're proud to work with every branch of the US military and some of our NATO allies in supporting global logistics efforts."

The military has realized it is an arms race regarding additive manufacturing technology. Being able to rapidly prototype at your home or office is one thing; however, doing it on the front lines is another. Seeing a problem and then being able to fix it on the spot is priceless. The US Navy has utilized metal 3D printing capabilities to ensure dominance, allowing them to create stronger, more complex parts quicker than ever before. Additive manufacturing is in every military branch, whether for building structures, parts for a combat vehicle, or parts for an aircraft.

The Military Additive Manufacturing Summit is right around the corner and provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate directly with the military and government. The ability to transform our current capabilities in additive manufacturing and stay competitive globally is key. There is no better time than the present to engage in these conversations to not only hear about these advancements in additive manufacturing but also to see them in action firsthand.

If you attend the Military Additive Manufacturing Summit, be on the lookout for Dan, our CEO. He will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding the benefits that Slice Engineering has to offer in the military additive manufacturing space.
