Slice Engineering Team

Our Story

Our journey started in a garage, where Chris Montgomery (CTO) diligently crafted prototypes of new hotends, and Daniel Barousse (CEO) efficiently handled packaging, customer support, and shipping. We focused on first principles engineering, looking for optimizations where form followed function, approaching each part of the problem one step (or slice) at a time. That approach and Daniel’s fond memories of running through orange groves in Tampa, Florida, inspired the name Slice Engineering.

Today, as a close-knit team, we continue to make a significant impact. Our commitment to innovation, growth, and manufacturing excellence has earned us global recognition and numerous accolades.
