Honoring Our Veterans

Jenny Benson

Customer Success Manager

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served and are currently serving. Thank you.

In 2021, the U.S. Census Bureau released the count of veterans in the United States from 2015-2019. There are 18.2 million. We cannot begin to express our gratitude to the 18.2 million men and women who have served our country and to the families who have shared their loved ones. Every freedom we have, we owe to you.

Slice Engineering is proud to offer a discount to all U.S. veterans and active military personnel. This discount is just one small way we show our appreciation and has saved customers hundreds of dollars. To enroll, reach out to our support team at support@sliceengineering.com.

Each year we donate a portion of sales on Veterans Day to a local or national organization doing work to support our veterans. We have been able to donate $2200 over the last three years to these causes. We’d like to thank our customers for joining us in support of these great organizations.

This year, we are excited to partner again with the Wounded Warrior Project. A portion of all our sales made November 11th, 2023 will aid their vital work.

If you choose not to shop today, you can donate directly to the Wounded Warrior Project through the links below or select one of the other organizations we’ve partnered with in previous years. Another great way to show gratitude is to support a veteran-owned business in your community.

Wounded Warrior Project

"Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. With the mission to honor and empower wounded warriors, WWP improves the lives of millions of warriors and their families. This is done through direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts."

NewTechNow

"New Tech Now began as a grassroots organization offering workshops to students, teachers, veterans, and seniors interested in learning skills that would provide them with an understanding of emerging technologies. In August 2017 they incorporated as a non-profit and became a 501(c) by December of that same year. Our mission is bringing people together to improve their lives through new technology."
