Statement Regarding AnkerDirect Legal Filing
Fantasia Trading, LLC, dba AnkerDirect, committed a clear case of infringement on Slice Engineering’s 3D printer hotend technology.
Amazon took action to suspend Anker’s efforts to sell these products pending third-party arbitration – but Anker failed to pursue arbitration. Anker instead took legal action.
At the time of this legal filing, we had already been in discussions with Anker’s legal team for weeks for a potential settlement of this matter. Slice was pursuing this option in good faith, so we think it was premature and unjustifiable for Anker to take the legal route, particularly given our standing as the aggrieved party.
