The Bondtech LGX ACE Hotend is an add-on attachment for the LGX eXtruder. The different variants of the LGX ACE Hotend are designed for rigid and flexible materials, improved cooling capacity, and high flow rate applications.

The LGX ACE Hotends are special short filament path hotends, co-developed by Bondtech and Slice Engineering, to be used with the LGX eXtruder. These hotends come in multiple variants including Mosquito Magnum+®, Mosquito®, and Copperhead®.
Engineered To Give More Flow
During the long months of deep testing that preceded the launch of the LGX CHT nozzles, Bondtech discovered that shortening the post-drive filament path generates increased volumetric flow rate capacity. The LGX versions of these hotends deliver increased flow rates compared to the basic versions of these hotends.
Designed To Be Cooler
The Bondtech LGX ACE Hotends feature monolithic air-cooled cold blocks and heat sinks that engage with the LGX extruder using its interface plug and rest at the front of the extruder. The heat sink includes the hole pattern for attaching 40×40 fans. Bondtech's tests suggest a 4010 fan is enough to cool down the cold block and the cold zone of the heat break, due to the monolithic design of the cold block and heat sink that increases heat transmission and dissipation.

- Mosquito Magnum+®: The LGX ACE Mosquito Magnum+® Hotend is a robust high-flow hotend that allows for one-handed nozzle changes and industrial level volumetric flow rates.
- Mosquito®: The LGX ACE Mosquito® Hotend is a small, light, and robust hotend that allows for one-handed nozzle changes and higher volumetric flow rates.
- Copperhead®: The LGX ACE Copperhead® Hotend is a small and lightweight hotend that allows for higher volumetric flow rates.
Compatible Rep Rap Style Nozzles
This LGX add-on only supports 1.75 mm filament. Extruders, heaters, and thermistors are not included. Lastly, the LGX ACE Hotends are not compatible with 3DSolex Matchless 1.75 mm nozzles.

Because it is necessary to disassemble the hotend to install the heater(s) and thermistor(s), this hotend is supplied as a set of parts.

- A standard 9 mm wrench can be used
- 0.15 Nm Torque Wrench with 1.5 mm hex bit
- A standard 1.5 mm hex key which is included can be used
- 1.5 Nm Torque Wrench with 6 mm hex socket
