Recently, the team introduced a proprietary Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) nozzle, designed specifically for 3D printing and engineered to tackle the toughest applications. This groundbreaking technology empowers 3D printers to seamlessly print any filament using a single nozzle, eliminating the need for frequent nozzle changes.

Technical Information

• Torque Specifications:
  • DiamondBack Nozzles are rated for up to 2.5 Nm, but when used with our Mako Hotend, they should only be torqued to 1.5 Nm.
  • The DiamondBack FIN nozzle features a 6 mm hex and is compatible with our Nozzle Torque Wrench™ (1.5 Nm) for secure installation.
• Maximum Operating Temperature:
  • DiamondBack Nozzles can handle temperatures up to 300°C.
• Recommended Start Temperatures by Material:
• PLA: 200°C – 215°C
• PETG: 230°C – 250°C
• PETG Carbon: 245°C – 265°C
• Post-Installation Guidance:
• Recalibrate the Z-offset after installation to protect the print bed.
• Run a temperature tower to find the optimal printing temperatures, as they are generally lower with DiamondBack Nozzles.
• Operating Recommendations:
• Always follow the specific operating specifications provided by your 3D printer manufacturer and filament supplier for best results.
