Reliable and Accurate
Known for its ability to measure temperature in various environments accurately, the Type K Thermocouple operates on the principle of the Seebeck effect, using two metal wires, generating a voltage proportional to the temperature difference. It boasts a maximum temperature capability of 400°C, making it suitable for use with a wide range of filaments and chamber temperatures commonly encountered in 3D printing processes.
An amplifier board is required to amplify and accurately convert the millivolt-level signals into temperature readings.
Each thermocouple has 2-meter bare leads, allowing hassle-free attachment to virtually any 3D printer setup. The cartridge itself measures 15 mm in length and has a 3 mm diameter, adhering to the de facto standard for sleeved thermocouples.
