Q: I am trying to find a video to demonstrate the Bridgemaster vs Vanadium performance. I have a .2, .4, .6 Vanadium nozzles and want to see if the Bridgemaster is a worthwhile addition. Its helpful to see practical application videos when comparing. Are there any such videos out there?
A: Unfortunately, we have not made nor do we know of a video that demonstrates the difference in performance between our Bridgemaster and Vanadium Nozzles. Our Vanadium Nozzles have incredibly high resistance to abrasive filaments as they are made from vanadium-alloyed high-speed steel....view more Our Bridgemaster Nozzles are made from a highly thermally conductive copper alloy which will keep the nozzle hot even when aggressive part cooling is used during operations like bridging. view less
Q: How does this nozzle compare to a traditional brass nozzle? I use vanadium with industrial materials and brass for everything else. I’m always looking at what’s out there.
A: Our Bridgemaster Nozzle is made from a copper alloy, so it has better thermal conductivity than a traditional brass nozzle. This means that more aggressive part cooling setups will not cool down the tip of the nozzle too much while performing bridging operations where the part cooling...view more fan is typically at 100% of its power. view less
Q: Hi, do you have a comparision spec sheet for this ? you know like a table comparing different specs of different nozzles, like the Thermal conductivity, hardness, how smooth the inside is etc etc. thanks
A: That's a great question! We're in the process of building out more marketing materials around comparisons. In the meantime, all the relevant size specifications are available on the product page!
Q: Is there anything this nozzle is better at than the vanadium nozzle? I'm trying to decide which one to get and whether to get both.
A: The Bridgemaster Nozzle is made of a copper alloy core which is optimized for thermal conduction which enables the nozzle to handle bridging better than the Vanadium Nozzle can. The Vanadium Nozzle is made of vanadium alloyed high-speed steel designed to have a greater abrasion resistance...view more than the Bridgemaster Nozzle will. view less
