Color-changing and reusable, it keeps your electronics, tools, and valuables protected with no guesswork. You can use this by itself or by sprinkling it into your Activated Alumina Desiccant.

When active, the molecular sieve beads are blue.  As the beads reach saturation, the color changes to beige, indicating that the molecular sieve has reached equilibrium capacity and needs to be recharged.

Can I use Indicating Molecular Sieve by itself, or should I use it with Activated Alumina Desiccant?

You can do either. If you plan to mix them, we recommend filling your canister of Activated Alumina Desiccant with about 10% Indicating Molecular Sieve. This will give you reliable moisture indication while allowing the Indicating Molecular Sieve to last across multiple setups.
