Internal 30° Taper

The kaikaFIN Nozzle’s internal 30° taper creates a smoother, more efficient flow path for molten filament, reducing friction and backflow. This leads to a faster response during extrusion and retraction, a lower extruder load, and a smaller, more controlled melt pool. The result: sharper details, fewer clogs, and improved overall print quality.

20μm Concentricity

The orifice of the kaikaFIN nozzle has an industry-leading concentricity of 20 microns, ensuring ultra-smooth layer transitions and unparalleled print quality.

Disclaimers

Torque Requirements
  • The recommended torque for installing/uninstalling kaikaFIN Nozzles is 2 Nm. This means our 1.5 Nm Nozzle Torque Wrench is insufficient for torqueing these nozzle to their full torque requirements.
Avoid Print-Filled/Abrasive Filaments
  • Using print-filled filaments with the 0.1 mm variant of the kaikaFIN Nozzle will result in clogging, as some of the fibers/additives used in print-filled filaments are larger than 0.1 mm.
Clearing Hotend Fully Before Using This Nozzle
  • If the previous print used filled filaments with a different-sized nozzle, clear the hotend of that filament before switching to the 0.1 mm nozzle.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm brand new to 3D Printing and just bought a Bambu Lab 3D Printer. Will it be easy for me to use this nozzle?

If you're brand new to 3D printing, it’s still possible to use this nozzle—but it may require some tuning and experimentation to get the best results. We recommend starting with the nozzle stock with your Mako Hotend and upgrading once you're comfortable with your printer and slicer settings.
